DESCRIPTION:
.....An ethiopian ensemble of antique beads and elements. Shamens spears are used to protect or heal the wearer, carved from bone and suspended on leather strands. This piece suspends them on a selection of beads typically found and worn in Ethiopia.
COMPONENTS: Two authentic Ethiopian shamens spears. red whiteheart skunk beads, ( Venice circa 1800) yellow medicine beads ( Venice circa 1880) ethiopian brass and cow bone beads, Venetian French Cross design beads, Hebron beads, made using salt from the Dead sea as an alkaline within the beads. ( Circa 1850).
